STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING CO-OP Co-operative education allows a student to experience different work environments and different areas of Civil Engineering. We believe in having Co-ops work in our office. They help us with drafting and design once they have some design classes.
ENGINEERING STRUCTURAL DESIGNER Designers work under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Engineer. They have the opportunity to learn how to design all types of buildings, structures, stairs, rails, or structural steel connections. Designers will work with our drafter to complete construction documents for building and structures.
PROFESSIONAL STRUCTURAL ENGINEER Professional Structural Engineers make independent decisions regarding the analysis and design for buildings and various structures. They assist our Designers and Drafters in the preparation of construction documents. Client communication is key, and they keep projects on schedule and within budget guidelines.
SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER Senior Structural Engineers are the lead on multiple projects while beginning to grow a network of client contacts, supervising and mentoring staff and may have the opportunity to secure equity within the firm.
Principals Principals serve in leadership roles and provide expert project guidance, mentoring to advancing engineers and staff, and provide quality management. They are owners within the firm and manage multiple large and complex projects.
A Structural Revit Draftsman Designer prepares structural drawings and plans for foundation and framing work for Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Institutional projects.

Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED; Additional education preferred. Two years’ experience with Revit software and knowledge of AutoCAD required.
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management and engineers. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, clients, staff, vendors, etc.
Mathematical Skills Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. This role requires an above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office.
